Trees & Chairs
This was so powerful to me. After some thought, I came to the same conclusion that Bishop Jakes shared.
New Year… Same me?
While we may not be able to control or change EVERYTHING we dislike about our lives overnight, there is one piece that can change on a dime and make all the difference in the world. One area so powerful that it can interrupt our unhappiness and reshape our destinies.

You are what you eat
I sat down to eat, took a couple bites and my mouth broke out! Painful sore spots appeared out of nowhere! My stomach burned and ached. What in the whole world?? At that moment life changed.
A prayer for today
Father, Give us strength, courage, and peace in this world. We don’t understand why bad things happen especially to the innocent, but you do. Help us to trust You even when we hurt and don’t understand. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen. 🙏🏽❤️

The day after…
The harsh reality is, that what happened at Columbine, Sandy Hook, and so many other schools, that now include Robb Elementary, can happen anywhere! The harsh reality is that our government does not prioritize our children enough to agree and make reform that could save lives! The harsh reality is … those parents will never hear the laughter of their children again. No more birthday celebrations, no more days at the pool, no more bedtime stories, or crazy family vacations. Their children have been snatched from life. It just hurts so much.

Time Flies. Pay Attention.
I have noticed as my children have grown that they both exhibit specific personality traits that give me peaks into who they will be as they grow.

Be careful what you pray for
So one day, about a year ago, I began to pray for consistency, discipline, and balance. I knew that it was a tall order, but I really wanted to grow!!! The funny part is, I always tell people to be careful what you pray for. And then I had the nerve to pray for consistency, discipline, and balance! I don’t know what I thought would happen!

That’s what Friends are For…
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you are not alone. There are people who want to love, help, and support you. And if there is no one else, Jesus is here. I’ve found Him to be an really good friend too. ❤️
Trying this blog thing….
In addition to working mom, I am also a wife, caregiver, and an entrepreneur. Each one hold their weight in the responsibility category. While I would love to say I have it all mastered, the truth is, I don’t. Days are crazy, nights are messy, and everything in-between in a continual balancing act that I often feel I fail at.
